abstract The present invention provides a method for efficiently separating silver and lead from a mineral slurry such as decopper slime containing silver selenide and lead sulfate by flotation. A release agent containing paraffin wax is added to a mineral slurry containing silver selenide and lead sulfate and stirred under heating, followed by addition of a trapping agent and a foaming agent and stirring. Silver and lead characterized in that lead sulfate is left in the slurry, and the floss is floated to recover silver selenide and separated from lead sulfate contained in the remaining mineral liquid.
