titleOfInvention | Nickel metal hydride storage battery and method for manufacturing nickel metal hydride storage battery |
abstract | A nickel-metal hydride storage battery capable of reducing the amount of a sulfonated separator while suppressing self-discharge when a separator subjected to a sulfonated treatment and another separator subjected to a hydrophilic treatment are used in combination. A method for producing a nickel metal hydride storage battery is provided. A nickel-metal hydride storage battery containing an electrode group and an alkaline electrolyte in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are alternately stacked via separators is subjected to sulfonation treatment. The positive electrode plate 27 with the 1st separator accommodated in the 1st separator, and the positive electrode plate 28 with the 2nd separator accommodated in the 2nd separator to which the hydrophilic treatment other than the sulfonation process was given were included. The number of the positive electrode plates 28 with the second separator is larger than the number of the positive electrode plates 27 with the first separator, and the positive electrode plates 27 with the first separator are arranged at at least one of the start end and the end in the order in which the separators are stacked. .
