titleOfInvention | Method for converting lignocellulosic material to organic acid |
abstract | Provided is a method for converting lignocellulose to an organic acid in order to obtain an organic acid at a high concentration, a high yield and a high purity. A) a feed containing a lignocellulosic material is pretreated with an alkaline agent containing a divalent cation in the presence of water to obtain an aqueous slurry of the lignocellulosic material; b) the lignocellulosic material. At least a part of the slurry is fed to the fermentation zone and subjected to enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation in the presence of microorganisms, insoluble lignocellulose, organic acid precipitated salts and dissolved salts due to the above divalent cations. And c) obtaining the fermentation broth containing the enzyme; c) discharging the fermentation broth obtained in step (b) from the fermentation zone; d) from the fermentation broth and insoluble in the liquid phase containing the salt dissolved in the organic acid. Separating the lignocellulose and the solid phase containing the salt from which the organic acid is deposited; and e) transferring at least a part of the liquid phase to the alkali pretreatment step and / or the fermentation zone. Methods including rings, it. [Selection] Figure 1 |
