abstract | To provide a method for producing a toner having excellent storage stability and excellent coloring power. Dispersing a toner composition containing a polymerizable monomer, a pigment, a polyester resin A, and a low molecular weight resin in an aqueous medium to form particles of the toner composition in the aqueous medium; A toner production method including a step of polymerizing a weight monomer contained in particles of a toner composition, or obtained by dissolving or dispersing a binder resin, a pigment, a polyester resin A, and a low molecular weight resin in an organic solvent. A toner composition comprising: a step of dispersing a toner composition in an aqueous medium to form toner composition particles in the aqueous medium; and a step of removing an organic solvent contained in the toner composition particles. The polyester resin A contains an isosorbide unit, the Mw of the polyester resin A is 8000 or more and 30000 or less, and the Mw of the low molecular weight resin is 2500 or more and 6000 or less.
