abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a sufficient concentration of chlorine dioxide in a practical time regardless of the size of a facility to be treated, and to have sufficient strength not to cause damage during transportation or packaging. It is an object of the present invention to provide a tablet for preparing an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide that can be supplied for any use such as spraying. SOLUTION: At least one selected from the group consisting of metal chlorites, chlorine releasing compounds that release chlorine when contacted with water, solid acid sources, anionic surfactants, silicones, and mineral oils defoamers. A total amount of at least one antifoaming agent selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant, a silicone-based, and a mineral oil-based antifoaming agent is 0.1% with respect to the whole tablet. It has been found that the problem can be solved by using a tablet of 10 wt% to 10 wt%. [Selection figure] None |
