abstract |
The present invention provides a hybrid vehicle and a control method thereof that improve the fuel efficiency by avoiding the suppression of the output of a motor generator while improving the regenerative efficiency at the time of high-speed running. A propeller shaft is provided with a speed reduction mechanism that connects a motor generator and a second power steering pump to a propeller shaft. The multi-plate clutch 15 is connected and the electric pump 131 is driven by the electric power generated by the alternator 17 to control the cooling of the water-cooled motor generator 33 and the inverter 34.
