abstract The present invention provides a single-chain fusion protein comprising at least three TNF cytokine domains that enables efficient recombinant production combined with good stability with respect to aggregation. Single-chain fusion proteins comprising three soluble TNF superfamily (TNFSF) cytokine domains and nucleic acid molecules encoding these fusion proteins. These fusion proteins are substantially non-aggregating and are suitable for therapeutic, diagnostic and / or research applications. Furthermore, a nucleic acid molecule encoding a fusion protein and a cell or non-human organism transformed or transfected with the nucleic acid molecule. A polypeptide wherein the soluble TNF superfamily cytokine domain is selected from soluble CD95L or TRAIL domains. [Selection] Figure 1
