titleOfInvention | DC motor, resin composition and protective member |
abstract | To reduce the manufacturing cost of a DC motor. A DC motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a brush to which a DC voltage is applied from an external power source. The rotor 1 includes an armature coil 3 as a winding that generates a magnetic force by an electric current, a commutator 5 that causes the current to flow through the armature coil 3 by contact with a brush, and a protection element 61 that protects the commutator 5. The commutator 5 includes a plurality of commutator pieces 6 and a plurality of commutator risers 7 that are associated with the respective commutator pieces 6 and connected to the armature coil 3. The protection element 61 includes a thermosetting resin, and the cured product is molded from a resin composition exhibiting non-linearity in which voltage-current characteristics do not follow Ohm's law, and is electrically connected to each of the plurality of commutator risers 7. Connected. [Selection] Figure 8 |
