abstract |
Provided is a lithium-ion secondary battery that exhibits high capacity and excellent charge / discharge cycle characteristics. A negative electrode active material contains a material S containing SiO x (atomic ratio x of O to Si is 0.5 ≦ x ≦ 1.5), and a non-aqueous electrolyte is represented by formula (1). It is an oxide containing a compound and the positive electrode active material is composed of Li and metal M, and the molar ratio of Li to metal M in the positive electrode active material is 0.1 when discharged at 0.1 C to 2.0 V.
