PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen-like peptide having strong antimicrobial activity without being easily degraded in the body. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] When peptides having basic and triple helical structures and different types of basic and hydrophobic residues were screened, R3Css-F was obtained as a peptide having antimicrobial activity against bacteria. Therefore, by preparing various collagen-like peptides using R3Css-F as a lead compound and clarifying the structure of the collagen-like peptide necessary for antimicrobial activity, it has strong antimicrobial activity without being easily degraded in the body.
