abstract | Disclosed is a drug application device and a drug application method capable of suitably applying an appropriate amount of drug to an appropriate site on the skin where allergic disease has occurred. A drug application device according to the present invention includes a light irradiation unit that irradiates terahertz light toward the skin, a light receiving unit that receives reflected light of the terahertz light, and a cytokine as a detection target obtained from the reflected light.
