abstract | Disclosed is a drug-inducible promoter that can be used in plants of sugarcane and related genera. The method includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of probenazole, acibenzoral S-methyl, thiazinyl, and isothianyl, which includes a polynucleotide having a specific base sequence in this order from the 3 ′ end to the 5 ′ end.
