titleOfInvention | Digital printing apparatus and digital printing method |
abstract | A digital printing device using a liquid toner comprising a carrier liquid, a dispersant, and image-forming particles, the image forming being adapted to retain a pattern of charges forming a latent image on its surface A development arranged to receive a member and a quantity of liquid toner and to develop the latent image by transferring a portion of the quantity of liquid toner onto the image forming member according to the pattern. A melting unit disposed downstream of the image forming member and configured to melt the image forming particles of the transferred portion of the liquid toner, wherein the portion is transferred from the image forming member. A dispersive capacity modifying unit provided downstream of the image forming member, wherein the dispersible capacity modifying unit is disposed in a part of the transferred portion of the liquid toner. Digital printing device configured to reduce the dispersability of the serial dispersant. [Selection] Figure 1 |
