titleOfInvention System for screening oxygenation status of subjects
abstract The present invention relates to a processor and system 1, 1 ′ relating to screening of the oxygenation status of a subject 100, in particular relating to the screening of newborns with congenital heart disease. The system has an imaging unit 2 that obtains multiple image frames of the object 100 over time, and a processor 3 that processes the image frames. An imaging unit, such as a conventional video camera used in vital sign monitoring using the principle of remote PPG, is used as a non-contact pulse oximeter. This is used to create a body map of at least blood oxygen saturation (for at least some body parts of interest). Selecting specific body regions, such as the upper right limb, pair, upper left and / or lower limb, and combining or comparing them can serve the purpose of detecting abnormalities in the heart and / or circuit function.
