titleOfInvention Sensor electrodes arranged symmetrically in an ophthalmic electrochemical sensor
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeball wearing device. An eye-worn device includes an electrochemical sensor embedded in a polymeric material configured to be worn on the surface of the eye. The electrochemical sensor includes a working electrode, a reference electrode, and a reagent that selectively reacts with the analyte to produce a sensor measurement related to the concentration of the analyte in the fluid to which the ocular device is exposed. The working electrode can have a first side edge and a second side edge. The reference electrode may be positioned such that at least a portion of the first side edge and the second side edge of the working electrode is adjacent to a respective portion of the reference electrode.
