A low resistance aerosol breath filter and methods of use thereof are provided. The exhalation filter provided in the present invention is used with a nebulizer in the treatment of a pulmonary infection in a patient in need thereof. In one method, an anti-infective formulation is administered to a patient in need of treatment for a pulmonary infection using a nebulizer comprising a low resistance aerosol breath filter of the present invention. The pulmonary infection is, in one embodiment, a Pseudomonas or Mycobacterium (eg NTM) infection. |
