abstract |
The present technology generally relates to fluidic devices and related systems and methods for measuring platelet aggregation. In some embodiments, the fluidic device includes an array of microstructures including a plurality of pairs of generally rigid blocks and generally flexible struts. The fluidic device further includes at least one fluidic channel configured to receive the array. The fluidic device may further include a measurement element configured to measure the degree of deflection of one or more of the flexible struts in the array. In some embodiments, the fluidic element comprises a hand-held device and can be used for point-of-care testing for platelet power and aggregation. |
