titleOfInvention | Degradable cationic surfactants and their use to enhance chemiluminescence |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for enhancing chemiluminescence from a chemiluminescent label, which comprises contacting an acid with a chemiluminescent label in the presence of a degradable cationic surfactant and then adding hydrogen peroxide with a base. Including contacting. Related kits containing such degradable surfactants are also provided. Degradable cationic surfactants can shorten chemiluminescence emission time to an extent comparable to or shorter than conventional surfactants. Degradable cationic surfactants enhance the chemiluminescence of chemiluminescent common sense and provide an increase in luminescent output comparable to conventional surfactants.
