abstract | The present invention provides a method for classifying and assessing the prognosis of a subject with breast cancer. The method includes predicting breast cancer subtypes using a supervising algorithm designed to stratify subjects based on breast cancer intrinsic subtypes. This prediction model is based on the gene expression profiles of the endogenous genes listed in Table 1. This predictive model can be used to accurately predict the endogenous subtype of a subject diagnosed with or suspected of having breast cancer. |
