abstract A method and apparatus for controlling uplink (UL) transmit power is described. A wireless transmit / receive unit (WTRU) may receive the configuration of the UL subframe set and maintain a plurality of TPC command accumulator values corresponding to each one of the UL subframe sets. The WTRU receives the TPC command in subframe n of the downlink (DL) transmission, determines the UL transmission subframe n + k to which the received TPC command corresponds, and the UL transmission subframe n + k is included in which UL subframe set.
