titleOfInvention | Assays for analyte congeners |
abstract | The method includes adjusting the contribution of one of the two analyte homologues to the amount of signal obtained in the assay to determine the total amount of the two analyte homologues in the sample. Non-assay receptors with greater binding affinity are utilized for either of the two analyte congeners whose contribution to the amount of signal is to be modulated. The amount of non-assay receptor is an amount sufficient to effect modulation of the analyte homologue contribution to the signal. The assay for measuring the total amount of the two analyte congeners is performed utilizing at least one assay antibody. |
