Composition of radioisotope-binding fine particles and bonding method |
abstract |
The present disclosure relates to polymeric materials that can be labeled with radioisotopes, processes for the production of labeled polymeric materials, and methods of using the materials in analytical and therapeutic applications. In particular, the present disclosure relates to injectable and implantable microparticles such as microspheres that bind to radioisotopes such that the microparticles are therapeutically detectable. Radioisotope-containing microparticles are useful in embolization and other therapeutic medical applications. |
