The devices and methods of the present invention generally relate to percutaneous delivery, implantation and placement of a fixture to a target site. The system includes a fixture having a bridge, a first stabilizer having a crimped state and a deployed state, a second stabilizer having a crimped state and a deployed state, and a positioning arm. The system may further include a cannula, a push rod, and a sheath. The system utilizes a controlled amount of force to allow placement of a fixture at a target location within the body. The fixtures and methods are particularly well suited for implantation into living animals and human bodies to monitor various physiological conditions. |
