abstract | The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for the testing and analysis of genetic mutations in samples containing maternal and fetal polynucleotides. In general, the compositions and methods of the present disclosure provide for isolation of a mixture of maternal and fetal polynucleotides from a sample that is generally derived from the mother. The polynucleotide is isolated and purified, and further tested to identify the presence or absence of genetic mutations such as copy number polymorphisms or consequential variants at one or more loci in the sample. |
