titleOfInvention Fluid delivery system and method for treatment
abstract The treatment system includes a fluid cooling supply system for cooling the coolant and delivering it to the patient. The fluid cooling supply system includes a cooling device and a heat exchanger device. The heat exchanger device is biased against the cooling device and is in fluid communication with the treatment device in the patient. The fluid cooling supply system includes at least one biasing mechanism for providing a given biasing force between the heat exchanger device and the cooling device to create and improve heat conduction. Coolant can be circulated through an energy delivery device positioned in the patient's airway to protect the tissue. The system is controlled to circulate coolant at a given temperature and pressure for a selected amount of time during the patient's lung treatment. [Selection] Figure 1
