abstract | The present invention is a method for producing a silane of the general formula (1) [R a H b SiCl 4-ab (1)], wherein the general formulas (2) and (3) [R c SiCl 4-c (2 ), R d H e SiCl 4-de (3)] is continuously mixed in a moving bed reactor in the presence of an alumina catalyst containing 1 to 10 parts by weight of aluminum chloride to 100 parts by weight of alumina. Wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a represents a value of 1, 2 or 3, and b is 0 or 1 C represents a value of 1, 2, 3 or 4, d represents a value of 0, 1 or 2, and e represents a value of 0, 1 or 2. |
