abstract |
A material suitable for use in an electrode, preferably an anode, and a process for forming the same are provided. This material includes an electrode base material and an organic synthetic solid electrolyte interface material including a water-soluble organic polymer that coats the electrode base material. The polymer is combined with a crosslinker to form an organic synthetic solid electrolyte interface material. As a result, synthetic SEI coating electrode material exhibits excellent discharge rate capacity and cycle stability. [Selection] Figure 1B |
