The thermoplastic polyester carrier film has the property of being able to deposit a peelable metal, which is suitable for metal transfer, the polyester film is metallized, and then the metal layer is made permanent by an adhesive. And transferred to a substrate coated with the coating. The metal layer is in direct contact with the polyester carrier film and there is no intermediate release layer. The desired metal deposition is provided by uniformly dispersing a suitable surfactant, optionally a hydrocarbon wax, in the polyester film. The surfactant on the outer surface of the carrier film modifies the metal adhesion to the polyester so that the metal can be removed in the metal transfer process. [Selection] Figure 1 |
