The present invention includes (1) a step of culturing neural progenitor cells in a culture solution containing a neurotrophic factor, (2) a step of dissociating the cells obtained in (1), and (3) obtained in (2). There is provided a method for producing astrocytes from neural progenitor cells, comprising the step of adhesion-culturing the obtained cells in a culture solution containing neurotrophic factor using a culture vessel that is not coated. |
