abstract |
The present invention provides a water glass and a non-hydrolyzable substituent having a primary amino group in the substituent for applying a corrosion protection coating on the metal surface to give good reshaping properties in metalworking. The present invention relates to an aqueous alkaline composition based on an organosilane. In order to obtain the desired functionality, the composition according to the invention contains organosilane and water glass in a certain ratio. The present invention further relates to a method for pretreatment of a metal surface using an aqueous alkaline composition, which has excellent effects on corrosion prevention, paint adhesion and reshapeability, in particular, on aluminum and on which aluminum alloy plating is applied. Relates to the method of bringing to the strip. |
