Wavefront aberration which is the difference between the transmitted wavefront of the test object 60 and the transmitted wavefront of the reference test object from the transmitted wavefronts at a plurality of wavelengths when the reference test object having a refractive index distribution is arranged in the medium 70 The change rate regarding the wavelength is calculated, and the refractive index distribution of the test object 60 is calculated based on the change rate regarding the wavelength of the wavefront aberration.
