abstract |
Provided are a tyrosinase activity inhibitor capable of effectively suppressing tyrosinase activity, a cosmetic preparation excellent in whitening effect, and a skin external preparation useful as a quasi-drug. Tyrosinase activity in which α-lipoylamino acid metal chelate compound (wherein the metal is zinc, cobalt or iron) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof (A) and human manganese SOD (B) Inhibitor. The use ratio R is preferably 0.001 to 1,500 when defined as R = [unit concentration of unit (B) (unit / mL) / concentration of component (A) (μg / mL)]. . An external preparation for skin containing both the components (A) and (B) as active ingredients for suppressing tyrosinase activity. The tyrosinase activity inhibitor, wherein the component (A) is histidine dithiooctanamide (Na / Zn) and the human manganese SOD (B) is produced by recombinant synthesis using Escherichia coli or yeast.
