The present invention provides a catalyst for olefin multimerization, in which the particle properties of polymer components by-produced in the production process of α-olefin are such that they do not adversely affect the separation process of the particles. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an olefin polymer in the presence of a multimerization catalyst.
