abstract A super-finished grindstone having an appropriate porosity and sufficient grindstone strength is provided for reliably holding abrasive grains and expanding a chip discharge passage and stably supplying the abrasive. SOLUTION: A mixed powder of a sinterable vitrified binder 3, a hard abrasive grain 1 and a soft abrasive grain 2 made of a borosilicate glass composition powder is compression-molded, and the borosilicate glass composition powder particles are made together. The sintered vitrified binder is composed of 35 to 55 mol% of SiO2, 3 to 5 mol% of Al2O3, and 10 to 35 mol% of B2O3. A sintered vitrified superfinished grindstone containing 94-100% by mass of a powder composed of a low-melting borosilicate glass composition containing 25-30 mol% of R2O + RO. It becomes a sintered body with a high holding power of abrasive grains, a wear rate during super finishing is slow, a finishing ratio and strength of the grinding stone are sufficient, and a grinding wheel capable of super finishing without clogging is obtained.
