abstract A biaxially stretched polypropylene film for a capacitor having a high withstand voltage at a high temperature, in particular, a high initial withstand voltage at a high temperature and having an excellent dielectric breakdown property, and a high voltage is applied at a high temperature. A biaxially stretched polypropylene film for a capacitor, which is preferably thin, can be suitably used for a high-capacity capacitor. Furthermore, the metallized polypropylene film for a capacitor | condenser by which metal vapor deposition was given to said biaxially-stretched polypropylene film for a capacitor | condenser and the capacitor | condenser containing such a polypropylene film are provided. A biaxially oriented polypropylene film for a film capacitor comprising at least one polypropylene resin and at least one β-crystal nucleating agent. [Selection figure] None
