abstract The present invention provides a biaxially oriented polypropylene film for a capacitor that exhibits excellent voltage resistance and reliability at high temperatures even in high voltage capacitor applications. The method includes a polypropylene resin having a micrometer thickness (t1) of 1 to 3 μm, a mesopentad fraction (mmmm) of 95% to less than 98%, and a longitudinal orientation parameter PMD and a width direction.
