abstract A cigarette capable of producing a smoker's feeling of sucking and a method of manufacturing the cigarette are provided. A cigarette includes a cigarette part (or a carved part), a filter part, a sheet-like explosive layer including nitrocellulose, adjacent to the cigarette part, and the explosive layer. A cylindrical ventilation part 6 interposed between the filter part 3 and the filter part 3 is provided. In the ventilation part of the cylindrical ventilation part 6, spiral paper (breathable member 5) that holds the explosive layer 4 in contact with (or adjacent to) the tobacco part 2 and forms a spiral flow path is disposed. ing.
