abstract The present invention provides a non-fermented beer-like sparkling beverage that retains “beer-likeness” despite its very low purine concentration, and a method for producing the same. The non-fermented beer-like sparkling beverage of the present invention is a non-fermented beer-like sparkling beverage having a purine body concentration of 0.2 mg / 100 mL or less and containing a sweet amino acid. The method for producing a fermented beer-like sparkling beverage comprises: (a) a step of preparing a preparation liquid by mixing sweetening type amino acids, acidulants, bitterings, and pigments; and (b) adding carbon dioxide gas to the preparation liquid. A purine body removal step and a purine body concentration of 0.2 mg / 100 mL or less. [Selection figure] None
