A method for producing an ethylene polymer is provided. SOLUTION: When performing slurry polymerization or solution polymerization of ethylene or ethylene and α-olefin in the presence of a polymerization catalyst, ethylene or ethylene and α-olefin are supplied into a polymerization solvent during the polymerization reaction.
