Method for producing asymmetric alkyl ether having tertiary alkyl group |
abstract |
The present invention provides a production method by which an asymmetric alkyl ether having a tertiary alkyl group can be easily and industrially obtained. (1) Production of an asymmetric alkyl ether having a tertiary alkyl group, wherein a tertiary alcohol and a primary alcohol or a secondary alcohol are subjected to dehydration reaction using activated clay as a catalyst. Method. (2) The asymmetric alkyl ether having a tertiary alkyl group according to (1), wherein the tertiary alcohol is any one selected from the group consisting of tert-butanol, tert-amyl alcohol, and 1-adamantyl alcohol. Production method. [Selection figure] None |
