Slowly progressive type 1 diabetes biomarker and use thereof |
abstract |
The main object of the present invention is to provide a technique for diagnosing slowly progressive type 1 diabetes with high accuracy. The anti-Palm2 antibody is expressed more significantly in patients with slowly progressing type 1 diabetes than in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Therefore, the anti-Palm2 antibody in body fluid is used as a biomarker. This makes it possible to diagnose slowly progressing type 1 diabetes with high accuracy. [Selection figure] None |
