The present invention provides a polymerizable composition, a wavelength conversion member, a backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display device that have high luminance when used for a wavelength conversion member and suppress a decrease in luminance in an outer peripheral region. A polymerizable composition comprising a quantum dot with a ligand coordinated on the surface, a polymerizable compound, and a dispersant, wherein the ligand comprises a saturated hydrocarbon chain having 6 or more carbon atoms. The LogP value of the polymerizable compound is 3.0 or less, the dispersant has a nonpolar site and a polar site in the molecule, and the nonpolar site is carbon. A polymerizable composition, a wavelength conversion member, a backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display device that are at least one selected from a saturated hydrocarbon chain having 6 or more, an aromatic ring, and a saturated aliphatic ring.
