abstract [PROBLEMS] To reliably generate desired steam with a simple and economical configuration, and to efficiently perform a reforming reaction. A fuel cell module includes a fuel cell stack, a reformer, an evaporator, and an exhaust gas combustor. The fuel cell module 10 is provided with a combustion exhaust gas passage 30f through which the combustion exhaust gas generated by the exhaust gas combustor 22 is circulated. The combustion exhaust gas passage 30f is provided with an exhaust catalyst 36 and an exhaust catalyst temperature raising device 34 for raising the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas in order to raise the temperature of the exhaust catalyst 36 to the activation temperature as necessary. . The evaporator 24 is located downstream of the exhaust catalyst 36 in the combustion exhaust gas flow direction and is disposed in the combustion exhaust gas passage 30f. [Selection] Figure 2
