abstract | The present invention provides a liquid crystal display element having a wall-like electrode to improve display efficiency and suppress color mixing due to light leakage, and a radiation-sensitive resin composition used for forming the wall-like electrode. A liquid crystal display element 1 includes a liquid crystal 4 sandwiched between a first substrate 2 and a second substrate 3, electrodes 5 and 6 are disposed on the first substrate 2, and applied between the electrodes. The liquid crystal 4 is driven by an electric field. The electrodes 5 and 6 are wall-shaped electrodes having wall-shaped resin portions 9 and 10 and conductive portions 11 and 12 made of a conductive member provided on the side surfaces of the resin portions 9 and 10. The wall-shaped resin portions 9 and 10 have a refractive index of 1.2 to 1.5, and suppress color mixing due to light leakage. [Selection] Figure 1 |
