abstract | A core-shell catalyst having high platinum mass activity and capable of improving the power generation performance of a membrane electrode assembly is produced. A method for producing a core-shell catalyst comprising a core containing palladium and a shell containing platinum and covering the core, the copper-coated palladium-containing particles having the surface of the palladium-containing particles coated with copper. A copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion liquid and a platinum ion-containing solution are prepared, and the copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion liquid and the platinum ion-containing solution are mixed in a microreactor to thereby contain a copper-coated palladium-containing solution. The copper on the particle surface was replaced with platinum, and the obtained shell-coated palladium-containing particles were subjected to an acidic solution in a potential range of 0.05 V (vs. RHE) or higher and 1.2 V (vs. RHE) or lower. , Potential scanning is performed.
