abstract | Provided are a multilayer ceramic capacitor that can remarkably improve productivity, has extremely good adhesion between an internal electrode and an external electrode, and has high electrical characteristics, and a method for manufacturing the same. A plurality of ceramic layers and internal electrodes are alternately laminated, and the laminated body is crimped and cut to obtain an intermediate product of a multilayer ceramic capacitor, and then the intermediate product is fired. Next, the processed aqueous solution containing the halogen-based compound is brought into contact with at least the end of the intermediate product 4 of the multilayer ceramic capacitor after firing, and the end of the ceramic layer 2 is etched and buried in the ceramic layer 2. The end face or end portion of the internal electrode 3 is exposed outward from the end face of the ceramic layer 2. Thereafter, external electrodes 5 are provided at both ends or at a plurality of positions on the side surfaces so as to be electrically connected to the internal electrodes. [Selection] Figure 1 |
