A method for removing hydrogen and carbon monoxide impurities from a dry gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide impurities is provided. Hydrogen and carbon monoxide impurities include a dry gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide impurities and at least substantially free of carbon dioxide at a sufficient residence time, for example, 1.5 seconds, for manganese oxide and copper oxide. Is removed by passing through a layer of catalyst containing a mixture of Thereby, the use of expensive noble metal catalysts for removing hydrogen can be avoided. In addition, regeneration of the catalyst using oxygen-containing regeneration gas does not reduce the effectiveness of the catalyst. [Selection] Figure 1 |
