titleOfInvention | toner |
abstract | A toner having excellent adhesion resistance is provided. A toner includes a plurality of toner particles each having a core and a shell layer formed on a surface of the core. The shell layer contains a thermosetting resin and has at least one of a hydroxyl group and an epoxy group on the surface. A mixture of 100 parts by mass of a ferrite carrier having a number average particle diameter of 50 μm and 10 parts by mass of toner is stirred using a tumbler mixer in an environment of a temperature of 25 ° C. and a humidity of 50% RH, so that the toner charge amount becomes a saturated charge amount. In a test in which stirring is stopped 30 minutes after the start, the charge amount of the toner reaches the saturation charge amount within 30 seconds from the start of stirring, and the change in the charge amount of the toner with respect to the saturation charge amount after 3 minutes from the stop of stirring. The rate is within 5%, and the rate of change of the charge amount of the toner at the time when 10 minutes have passed since the stirring is stopped to the charge amount of the toner at the start of stirring is within 10%.
