abstract | A method of electrically connecting a cathode to a cathode lead in a solid electrolyte capacitor is provided. A solid electrolyte capacitor includes an anode, a dielectric on the anode, a cathode layer on the dielectric, and a cathode lead on the cathode layer. The cathode layer is composed of at least one conductive layer 16 and an insulating adhesion enhancing layer 30.
