abstract There is provided a misrecognition correcting device and a program for automatically correcting even if misrecognition occurs in the result of speech recognition processing. A syllable character string that matches a syllable character string part included in a speech recognition syllable character string among a plurality of keywords registered in a data pool, with a syllable character string obtained by speech recognition as a processing target. Alternatively, a keyword having a syllable character string similar to this is searched, and the corresponding syllable character string part included in the speech recognition syllable character string is replaced by the found keyword. Keyword search involves creating a search pattern that includes a regular expression for each keyword registered in the data pool, and searching for a syllable string part that matches the search pattern including the regular expression from the speech recognition syllable string.
